Thank you for contacting us.  We sincerely value your patronage, and while we hope to be able to resume individually addressing emails again soon, right now email and call volume is unusually high, and our staff hours are needed to remain focused on maintaining the regular pharmacy operations in addition to organizing COVID-19 vaccination efforts.  We understand this is a stressful time and many are eager to receive the vaccine.  However, at this time we are unable to individually address inquiries (email and phone) regarding COVID-19 vaccination.  Be assured that we will always update our website: pawpawpharmacy.com and our Facebook page (Paw Paw Village Pharmacy) to contain the most up-to-date information regarding upcoming clinics, second dose arrangements, and sign-up opportunities. Like and follow us on Facebook to ensure you see our most recent posts. 

 

PRIORITY POPULATIONS: At this time, Paw Paw Village Pharmacy is only allowed to administer vaccinations to specific populations as directed by the State. Signups will clearly identify which populations are eligible. Contact the Van Buren/Cass District Health Department at Van Buren Cass District Health Department (or your local health department) if you are in another currently eligible priority group and are looking for a vaccination.

 

FIRST VACCINATION CLINICS: We are currently using an online sign-up link when first dose clinics are available, and the "go live" date and time will be posted at least a day prior on the Paw Paw Village Pharmacy Facebook page. When the time comes to sign up via the link, please do so as soon as possible, as demand is high and the appointment slots are filled quickly. Due to the high volume of emails and calls, we feel the need to remind everyone that we are not maintaining a sign up list. Please use our online scheduler when it becomes available. 

 

SECOND DOSE APPOINTMENTS: If you have already had a first dose with us and are awaiting the second dose, we will contact you with a sign-up link via the email address you provided at the time of your first vaccination. If you did not provide an email address, we will attempt to call you to schedule and/or text a link to sign-up. Please make yourself available on the date of the second dose clinic, as special date/time arrangements are unable to be made due to the fragile nature of and storage requirements for the vaccine.  Although the State of Michigan intends to fulfill second doses for all first doses administered, there have been some obstacles recently with supply and distribution that are entirely out of our control.  We are notified by the State when we will be getting vaccine, and when that happens, we will contact you via email or phone for the second dose sign-up.  At this time, we remain hopeful that all second doses will arrive and be administered on time.

 

OTHER INQUIRIES: If your question is not COVID-19 vaccine-related, we will do our best to respond in a timely manner.  Your questions are important to us.
